Moving home

Im about to move home and leave my Nest thermostat behind for the new couple.  Please can someone tell me how to make everything accessible for them and in what order I have to do things.  I imagine I will have to change passwords, email, phone number etc.., but how and where, on the computer, phone, or by inputs to the thermostat itself.  Very grateful.

The best advice I can give you, is don't do this. Remove the thermostat from your nest/home apps. Remove the house from your Home app. Go to the thermostat and do a full factory reset. This will keep both you and the new people's accounts safe and separate. Having the new people set it up from scratch will also get them familiar with operating the thermostat, as well as restart leaning for their schedule.
