Are you saying you have more than one thermostat and you would like to change to a Nest system, can you get away with just the one Heat Link to run your boiler? Correct?

Easy Answer - No you need a Heat Link for every display.

We already have one "Learning Thermostat with one "Heat Link" connected to our boiler. We want to add two more Learning thermostats.

The underlying problem is that the Under Floor Heating engineers have added a Heat Link with their system to drive the same boiler.

We will eventually add an extra thermostat for a new zone.

The Nest thermostats are nothing more than a temperature operated switch, but the display only communicates with one Heat Link. That would mean f you intended to have 3 displays, then the same amount of Heat Links. Even if you connected 3 displays manually to the one Heat Link, whichever display is calling for heat would override the others, and the boiler would then fire up to that display/zone.
