Hi, I have a 3rd Generation Heat Link which is dead. I believe Google know about the issue and are offering replacements. Is this correct.

I have followed the troubleshooting but to no avail.

Many thanks

Hello @leesm1

Thank you for reaching out to our Nest Community. Don't worry, I'd be happy to help you with your Nest Heat Link power.

Let's work together to fix it. To better assist you, I would like to confirm if you complete these steps:

  • Check that the breaker switches are set to ON.
  • Turn on Manual Mode to verify boiler activation.
  • Also, can you confirm if you are seeing any wiring report or error on the thermostat or app?

With these details, we can continue finding a solution for this situation.
Feel free to keep us posting.

Thanks Douglas, for your reply.

I managed to get in touch with google chat who confirmed it's failure and although out of warranty, they are aeare of the Heat Links failure, they agreed to replace it.

BOXT came and replaced it yesterday.

Thanks again,

Leesm1.
