My NEST thermostat worked great for over a year and how it keeps shutting down

My Gen 3 NEST thermostat that worked great for just over a year now and last week it started acting up.  It keeps shutting down and will not connect to the internet.  There is a green light flashing at the top of the unit but when the button on the front of the stat is pressed it will not turn on.  I have power (24VAC at RH and C - tested with a multimeter).

I have tried re-setting the stat but the condition continues

Hi John42,

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry for the delay. Were there any instances that your Nest Thermostat shows low power before the main issue occurs? Please try to charge your thermostat for at least an hour using a micro USB cable.

Best,

Jenelyn

Thanks for answering, Jenelyn.
