My Nest Thermostat 4th Gen is Still Heating When I'm Away

My Google Nest Learning Thermostat is still heating the house even after it has sensed that we have left. I'm in northern California and it's pretty temperate here so it really does not need to heat the house while we are away. How do I prevent the thermostat from heating the home after we have left and the thermostat has sensed we are away?

2. When did this inconvenience start?
3. Do you have any other Google Nest devices or third-party devices connected to the Google Home app? If so, are all devices connected to Wi-Fi?
