My energy bill went sky high using the the Nest thermostat, 3rd Generation.

Energy bill went from less than $100.00 ups $350.00 because the thermostat changes temperature without we indicated. We can't find the way to control it. In Eco goes very quick from 58 to 69 in the middle of the night and we have not set it like that. what we should do?

Hey xaviero,

Thanks for reaching out. A few questions: when did it start happening? Did you make any changes to your thermostat settings? What other strange symptoms have you experienced since the problem started? When was the last maintenance check for your HVAC system? Do you have a schedule set on your thermostat? Also, what country are you located in?

Follow the steps below on how to remove a temperature.

While viewing your thermostat’s schedule:

  1. Tap the day of the week that has the temperature you’d like to remove.
  2. Select the temperature you want to remove.
  3. Tap Delete. The temperature will be removed from the schedule for that day.

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Archie
