Hi I would like to buy a Nest Learning Thermostat but a lot of people online are saying that the 3rd Gen has been discontinued in the UK. It does look like I can still buy the 3rd Gen on the Google store but is this a bad idea if Google are abandoning their European customers?
I can see that the product page isn’t properly built out, there’s a lot of missing info and the link to compatible boilers is broken. It doesn’t feel like Google want people to buy it but I have Google WiFi set up so would rather stay in the same eco system.
Is this a big waste of money on the product and installation if Google aren’t going to maintain the Thermostat products in the UK?
