NEST NOT RECHARGING

Good morning, I have had a problem with my nest not charging since last November. I have been through several rounds of phone calls, checks, emails. Its now Feb, 3 months later i still have a unit that we need to take off the base and charge every day so we can have heating the same evening . The charge only lasts a very short time. I am not expecting anyone to resolve this issue on the forum however I hope to highlight the absolute frustration i have had over such a simple problem. Namely just swopping over the unit for one that works. How can this take so long Google its appalling customer service form an organisation that should be doing better than this. Even if every aspect of customer service is outsourced. My reference case number if anyone official is monitoring this post is 6-1740000035593

Just a quick question, are you UK? How old is the Thermostat?

Yes I am UK and the thermostat will be 18 months old now.

You say 18 month old, did you purchase the thermostat or an installer supply and fit?
