Thank you David. I ha s tried everything. The thermostat is in my vaction property. We have 7 more thermostats and they all work except this one. Could it be the battery doesnt hold charge anymore?

Is the light blinking red or green or does it have no light at all?

Thermostats are not affected by that announcement.

What happens when you tried these steps?

Troubleshoot when your thermostat won’t turn on - Google Nest Help

When it talks about checking your Voc, Vin, and Lin values, what are those showing as for you?

And yes, the Nest app itself isn't going anywhere.

Thank you

I treied everything. the base that the thermostat is in works when I put another thermostat there. I have left thermostat in for many days and all I see a blinking red light. I have a ticket with Nest for weeks but nobody’s responding, I have 10 of the thermostats in my houses. I’m contemplating to change them all to another type of thermostat because of their customer service
