NEST THERMO won’t connect to Google home app or to wifi

Had to reset wifi, had to reboot devices, Nest won’t connect to nest app. Put QR code says on phone but on NEST face it says set up on home app but it won’t set up on home and NOR to WIFI I reset to factory settings but nothing is working. I’m in AZ and it’s hit!! Please help I just keep going in circles doing the same thing and nothing works !

Just Had Same Problem, My Phone being in Power save mode was the cause for bluetooth issues. Pull battery from nest, restart google home and make sure iphone is not in powersave mode. The put the battery in and launch the app.

Battery Settings: If you're having trouble maintaining a connection to your Nest Thermostat, make sure your iPhone isn't set to Low Power Mode, which can limit background activity and affect the performance of some apps.

Hi Renior, 

Thanks for reaching out to us, and I'm sorry to hear about the situation. 

Remove the batteries of your Nest Thermostat 2020 then put them back after 30 seconds. Then, proceed on the Home app to set-up your thermostat.
