NEST Thermostat not charging - after USB cable charge returns to red light blinking

My NEST 3rd Gen is not holding a charge.  And when with charge the charge dissipates.  When with a charge I am unable to connect to the internet.  It does not see the wifi networks and unable to join the network.

Is the thermostat's display seated properly? Kindly share here the power info of your Nest Thermostat, go to> settings> Technical Info> Power and share here all the information.
