Hi, With all the talk about Heat Link problems, is it possible to disconnect my NEST, and operate the boiler manually (for heating and hotwater)? Thanks

Thanks for reaching out to us here @pret123 . I would be happy to try and assist.
The Heat Link provides a bridge for current to flow and activate your system. Think of it like turning on a lights switch. Inside the Heat Link there are relays that switch on and off to activate or deactivate the system.
If you were to bridge the required wires, let's say for heating, the live wire from terminal 2 to the wire in terminal 3, you would basically connect the circuit and activate the system.
I would not recommend you try this, as you don't have any control over the system, it will just be on as long as the wires are connected and you are dealing with high voltage. But should you wish you could have a bypass switch installed or some other backup, by a professional installer or electrician, so you can have some extra peace of mind.

Hi @pret123. Just checking in, did my colleague answer your question? Is there anything else I can assist you with at the moment?
