Neat thermostat sensor misplaced

Help. I see my sensor is connected and showing a cooler temp BUT I can’t find it in my house. I tried heating each room with a space heater but the sensor temp is not changing. How can I find it?

Thanks for reaching out here in the Google Nest Community.

When was the last time you were able to change the temperature in that room using the Nest Temperature Sensor? Is it still connected when you refresh or log in and out of the Google Home app? Since there is no ringer to locate the device, we really need to physically check it. You could check the back of your couch or any furniture where it was originally placed.
