Need Nest Learning Thermostat to stay at or above 72* at night

Last night I had a pipe freeze in my home.  The repair service suggested I don't let my home temperature drop below 72*.  Is this possible with a Nest Learning Thermostat, if not, I will need to remove it.

72º is pretty high just to prevent pipes freezing!  Did the repair guy give you any justification for recommending such a high temperature?  The usual approach is to take a long hard look at the insulation for pipes in outside walls, crawl spaces, etc.

You'll need to turn off 'Auto Schedule',  'Use Eco Modes' and clear the existing schedule if your Learning model has automatically set any lower temps at night or Away times.

72* is based on how I was keeping my home at 68* and it wasn't sufficient to prevent a pipe from freezing on a windy night below 20* F.
