Need help trying to see if my old thermostat is compatible with google nest thermostat

Trying to see if my wiring system will be compatible with google nest or even the sensi smart thermostat. I can't upload a picture for some reason. But the wiring system goes this way. 

C TO BLUE

L- NOT CONNECTED TO A WIRE AND THE BLACK WIRE IS CONNECTED TO ANYTHING SO I DONT KNOW IF L AND BLACK SHOULD BE TOGETHER OR NOT

E TO BROWN

R TO RED 

G TO GREEN 

O/B TO ORANGE

Y TO YELLOW

Based on those wire labels (ignoring L if nothing is connected to it), it should be compatible with the Nest Learning Thermostat.
