Neet thermostat TH026 error

This thermostat is just a an overpriced paperweight. I brought 2 of them and had to send them back because they wouldn't connect to each other on Pixel 6. All google products and none them worked just kept getting a TH026 error. Google support were clueless and told me to reset every thing which didn't work. So if you get this error just request a refund its a lot quicker

Try these steps:

1. Reset your Heat Link E.

2. Press on the button that says Nest and hold it until the LED goes from green to blank (off) to pulsing blue to solid yellow. Once the light is solid yellow, release the button, and in a few seconds, the pairing light will slowly pulse. This time, the light should stay on longer and not go out in 5 seconds. Add the Heat Link E again. Once it's connected, the thermostat should continue the setup.

3. Enter the room name, schedule, and Eco temperature.

4. Test the thermostat.

5. Tap Finish.

Done all the resets possible still does not work, I have tried both of them with my Pixel 6 pro and they both wont connect

So to confirm, you've tried those steps in the exact order I shared?

Yes I knew all that information before hand. As stated above, all devices were reset multiple times. You just cut and pasted an old solution that does not work

That's a shame, shared as it has worked for other users who have experienced this in the past. In that case, I've shared this with the Google Nest community team, who can check on possible options and next steps.

Thanks for the effort but its clear there is a lack of product testing being done at Nest. I would have hoped they tested all there own products with Pixel phones. Clearly they dont
