Nest 2 zones not powering

I have 2 nest learning thermostats and tried to add one new zone with a battery backup and a third zone that requires a c wire. I hired an hvac guy to hookthen up to a 22 year old gas electronic boiler with 3 transformers and no clear diagram for a c wire. I ran the new zone with a c wire but the third zone doesn't have a c wire so I had one sent to me. After all of that the two simple thermostats STILL will not work and it was recommended I get a 4 zone panel to accommodate the thermostats...only problem is that it comes with a $1200 price point...ummmm nope! IS THERE NO OTHER WAY? I  already spent enough!

Hi riazmi,

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry for the delay. I'd like to take a closer look at it. Could you please take a photo of the wires connected to each zone? Also, could you please confirm which one was sent to you, C wire or a Nest Power Connector? Please check your Nest Thermostat's power readings.

You can follow the guide below:

  1. Go to your thermostat Quick View menu.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Look for Technical Info.
  4. Select Power.

Best,

Jenelyn
