Hi All,

Can anyone shed some light on how one can program the Nest Thermostat to go off at a certain time at night?

Or have it come on at a certain time to heat the home in the day time? Thanks,

Do it via the app.

On the screen with the dial to set the temperature, there are icons at the bottom of the screen. One is Schedule. You can do it in there.

Thanks for reaching out here, @pkarbass. Certainly! To program your Nest Thermostat for specific schedules, follow these steps:

1. Open the Nest app on your mobile device.
2. Select the thermostat you want to program.
3. Tap on the schedule icon.
4. Create a new schedule or edit the existing one.
5. Set the time you want the thermostat to go off at night or come on during the day.
6. Adjust the temperature settings for each time slot.
7. Save your schedule.

Now, your Nest Thermostat will automatically adjust the temperature according to the programmed schedule. Please note that there's no option to turn off the system via the schedule.
