Hey there,
Sorry to hear about the trouble. I wanted to follow up and see if I could be of any help. A blinking green light near the top of your Nest thermostat’s display means that it’s updating the software, starting up, or restarting. I found an article with more details on that. If you are still having the issue, I would recommend trying to reset the device. The issue has been resolved. I was able to reach support via Twitter. I discovered that I had one of the wires connected to C instead of G. We changed that and the device was fine and started working properly. Thank you for the follow up.
