Nest 3rd gen randomly comes on when it wants

My nest is set to a schedule for heat but randomly comes on during the day or night. Even when the house temperature shows 20c and the set temperature is 17c.

Is someone able to shed a light on why the random coming on issue as i have run out of ideas.

  • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
  • How far is the Nest thermostat from the WiFi router?
  • Have you experienced any other strange symptoms since the problem started?
  • Does the thermostat display show any error codes or messages?
  • Is this a new installation?
  • Has there been any recent changes or upgrades to your HVAC system?
  • Is the Auto-Schedule turn on?
