Hey there,

Sorry to hear about the trouble. I wanted to follow up and see if I could be of any help. Are you seeing any error codes on your device? I found an article with some troubleshooting steps for when your device won't turn on. Please let me know if you are still having any trouble from here, as I would be happy to take a closer look and assist you further.

Best regards,
Jake

Hi Jake, we are getting a E74 code but only on really cold days.  The nest will power cycle and stay off anywhere from 5-15 minutes.  Then it boots back up and starts working.

we have tried using a c wire, we have also tried a power transformer.

I am kind of running out of ideas

Hey there,

If you are showing an E74 error, then there is a chance you have no power to Rh wire detected. Here is an article with more details on the error, and how to troubleshoot that. I also found an article with some troubleshooting steps for strange heating behavior. Please let me know if that helps out.

Best regards,

Jake
