Nest 3rd Generation Thermostat (purchased in February 2021) no longer connects to WiFi after working fine for months. I have googled the problem and followed the instructions - reset the network, reset the Thermostat, reset the Router but it cannot find any networks to connect to whereas my iphone can find 6 networks in the vicinity. Looking at the other users comments, I can only assume it must be the same hardware problem?

I have the same problem. Suddenly it can't find any networks at all.
Perhaps it has something to do with a firmware upgrade?

I contacted Google Support yesterday and they said that it is probably a faulty Wi-fi chip within the thermostat. It has to be returned to Poland so a new one can be sent out. I would have hoped Google products would be a bit more reliable, given the cost of the Nest thermostat!

Have a great day.
