Nest 3rd generation with multiple problems... Terrible device

I have been battling with this Gen 3 Nest Thermostat since I got it.  3 things do not work.

1  Ambient temperature is off by 9 degrees  I have tried everything I can try resetting etc and so on...

2 No display turn on when I am walking by.  Again tried everything and nothing fixes it

3.  It is constantly saying battery low and it is wired correctly 24 volts coming in... It must not be recharging

I have had enough of this terrible thermostat.   Shocked that something this expensive would have so many problems.. Terrible device.   I guess I will throw it in the garbage after I put a new thermostat in it's place

I know I would be feeling quite similar if I was having the same concerns. We definitely care about our users experience, so I hope you don't feel dismissed but I would like to ask you to please feel free to submit your feedback to us. I've put instructions for feedback below.

  • Open the Google Home app
  • At the top right, tap your account.
  • Tap Feedback 
  • tap the type of device you'd like to submit feedback for.
  • To display available emails, in the "From:" section, tap the arrow on the right. Select your email address.
  • In the feedback summary, write a brief description of your issue.
  • Be sure to check the box for Screenshot and System logs.
  • To submit feedback, at the top right corner, tap Send
