Nest App Connectivity

I have a Nest 3 learning thermostat. The app is used on 2 IPads and 2 IPhones. Until recently these devices were able to remotely control the thermostat. But recently only 1 of the iPads manages this. The others will show the named thermostat but don’t provide any functional control. If I try to add a product to reconnect I am asked for a key which doesn’t appear as the thermostat is connected to the app already. Any advice please?

Thanks for posting and sorry for the delayed response. 

 

A few questions — on the devices where you're unable to control your Nest Learning Thermostats, do you see any messages or codes when trying to change something on them like the temperature or mode that your thermostat is in? Are these thermostats showing offline by any chance? Also, have you tried restarting these iPhones/iPads or uninstalling then reinstalling the Nest app on them?
