Nest App/Replacement Nest Learning Thermostat

Our HVAC company burned out one of our Nest Learning Thermostats this week and it was replaced. I was unable to add the device to my existing home profile, and now have two homes in the Nest App ... one for upstairs and one for downstairs. Previous to the replacement of the upstairs Nest Learning Thermostat, I had both thermostats on one home. I have spaces enabled on both and cannot figure out how to get both Nest Learning Thermostats onto the same home. I do not find a "combine" button anywhere. It's a reall pain to now have 2 homes in order to see the upstairs thermostat and the downstairs thermostat. Anyone have any suggestions on how I can combine so both units are on one home in the Nest App on iOS? Thanks.

Hi sdantinne63,

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your inquiry. I'd love to help.

To have your thermostats both on the same structure, you might need to remove one of them so you can re-add it to your preferred structure. However, you also need to reset the account connection under the reset option on the thermostat itself. From there, all you need to do is set up the device again without resetting it to default.

I'd suggest removing your thermostat from your old home and reconnecting it to the new one.

Please let me know if that helps.

Best regards,

Mark
