Nest Compatible

Do you think it can take a NEST? There is a piece of metal that is connecting RH,

R & RC together. And then a resister that connects them all to W1 (the red thing) 😵💫🫣🤔

Hi Skyeline,

Thanks for reaching out. The wiring looks like it would work with all the models of the Nest Thermostat. You don't need to use the jumper wires as the Nest Thermostat does this internally. You can also click on this link to learn more about this.

Thanks,

Edward

Edwards Responce was helpful… but it only addressed the jumper clip between RH, R, and RC, but not the resister that then connects those three to the W1 wire. Can I delete the resister?

Hi Skyeline,

Thanks for the response. You don't also need to use the resistor. Let us know once you've installed the Nest Thermostat. Keep us posted.

Thanks,

Edward
