Heat link dead. Have 8x nest thermostats Gen 3 thermostats at my property and over the last 2 years 3-off heatlinks have died.
Another one died last week, and when I raise issue through the support link I am no longer able to request replacement throught boxt.
Only contact options are facebook or twitter/x. I do not have an account with facebook or twitter, how do I contact Nest?

Are you in the UK? Which area if so?

Yes in UK.
Guessing Nest have pulled all UK support, so it's fix it yourself, or throw it away

Hi @courtings,

Thanks for reaching out here in the community! I understand that four of eight 3rd Gen Heat Links have failed over the past two years, including one last week. Additionally, you were unable to contact us through our social media channels, nor was the BOXT replacement request successful. No worries, I can definitely help you with this!

To effectively assist you and find the best solution for you, I’d like to ask for the following information:

  • Could you confirm the installation date for the Heat Link that just stopped working?
  • Do you see any wiring report or error messages on the thermostat screen or app?
  • Have you recently had service or maintenance on your electrical, plumbing, or heating system?
  • Did your property experience any recent power outages or electrical surges?

If you prefer to speak directly with our support team, you can visit our Contact Us page and follow the prompts until you reach Contact Options. Then select “Get a Call” or “Chat.” Our team has the necessary information and resources to provide you with the available options to resolve this inconvenience.

Please keep me posted.

Best regards,

Jenniffer
