Nest E Thermostat won't pair with app via bluetooth

Hi,

My Nest thermostat now turns on after being plugged in but will not pair with bluetooth on the 3 devices I've used to try to connect it to the Nest app. I've also tried pairing to the Google home app, in exasperation but nothing except error code TD023 on the Nest app. No other devices are connected via bluetooth and bluetooth on phone is switched on. Also using wifi on phone.

I've tried various resets and restarts but I'm limited to pressing the dial as it wont start up until it's paired.

Any ideas, please?

Hi Miggyfan,

Thank you for reaching out and we're sorry for the delay.

Adding your Nest Thermostat E to the app doesn't need to have it connected to your Bluetooth. Once your thermostat is plugged in and you are able to connect it to the WiFi, you'll only need to add it to your account using the Nest App.

This is a new replacement for thermostat e that was faulty. It connects to my internet WiFi but when I try to add it to app it goes through the whole process then tells me there was a problem adding to app
