Nest E malfunctioning

My Nest thermostat is not heating to the set temp. It says it's 73 in my house but that is not the case. It hovers around 66-68 degrees. I've tried unplugging the Nest. Tried updating firmware for the Nest, took it off the wall to charge, and I'm still having issues. This unit was installed thru a Weatherization program in Merced County, CA, and they advise that they only have an in house warranty of 1 year. PGE told me to contact GOOGLE for troubleshooting or a Warrenty replacement.

@Akadach , if your heating system is running and not capable of heating your home to the desired 73°F, there might be a problem with your heating system. If the location of the thermostat is different than that of where you are measuring the room temperature at, that will be the issue. The Nest display has 10 sensors located in it.  Three are used for temperature and humidity.  The accuracy is very good however, it  can cam be affected by sunlight shining on the display or drafty air in the wall behind the thermostat or around the area the the thermostat is located.
