I’ve had a Nest E for several years without any issues. In the past couple of days, the actual room temp has exceeded the temp I’ve set and called for on the Nest E by 2-3 degrees. Can anybody suggest an explanation for why this is occurring and how to fix it? Thank you.

Hello RG4,
I'm sorry for the trouble this may have caused you — let's see what's going on.
A slight temperature difference could be normal, as different thermostats calculate the temperature differently. Please read this article to learn why the Nest Thermostat temperature and the ambient temperature can differ.
Let us know if that helps.
Best regards,
Mark
