Hi, I'm trying to figure out if my Nest thermostat will work with my current wiring. Attached a picture, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like it should work idk what the yellow wire jumper Ed with between W2 & E is for need to verify what type of system you have ie. heat pump, geothermal, electric heat!!
nest base doesn’t have an E terminal spot but you can configure heat type thru nest settings

Thanks, from what I've read the E to W2 is for emergency heat? But not sure about that.

Noticed E and W2 has short yellow wire jumper you can discard and should be ok. Good luck

@gdogsmed, thanks for posting here in the Community forum and for showing interest in our Nest Thermostats. Fortunately, your thermostat wires are compatible with our Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd generation and should be wired to the Nest Learning Thermostat base as follows:
You may disconnect the jumper wire that is connected from E to W2, as it is not needed anymore. Also, here's a guide for the installation and setup of a Nest Learning Thermostat.
