Nest Heat Link stopped working

Hi There,

My heat link has stopped working from out of nowhere. It’s 3years old and doesn’t respond on anything. He’s receiving 230V.

 

How can we fix this problem?

Thanks for reaching out to us here @DeKleinePluto . I'm sorry to hear you're facing difficulties with your Heat Link and I would be happy to try and assist. Just to confirm, the Heat Link has not LED on it at all, correct?

 

It's great to hear you already checked the power. If it all looks good try and power cycle the Heat Link, if you're comfortable in doing so. Turn the power to the Heat Link off for a few minutes and then turn it back on. See if it has any reaction after, when you press the button on it.

 

Also, let us log some details together:

 

1. When was the thermostat installed?
2. When did you first notice this behaviour?
3. Was it installed by a Nest Pro or by a heating/electrical engineer?
4. Did you notice any message on the thermostat display?
5. Did you notice any power cut in the area before this occurred?
6. Did you have any maintenance done on the heating or electrical system recently? 
7. Do you have only one or multiple Google Nest thermostat devices at the location?

The hear link has no LED on it at all, thats correct. When i’m home i’ll try to shut him off for a couple of minutes en see what happens. Let you know.
 
Answers to your questions:
1 = 3 years ago
2 = not, it stopped out of nowhere 
3 = yes, it was installed bij a Nest technician 
4 = no messages on the thermostat was shown 
5 = there was no power cut
6 = there was no maintenance done in the heating system.
7 = i’m using only 1 nest device at home.

Morning guys, my heat link is down for a week now so please give me a quick proper solution. Where can i  buy a new one here in The Netherlands? Or do you send me a new one? (Generation 3) my address is Bas Vink, Amerikalaan 93, 2408 TX Alphen aan den Rijn, The Netherlands

I managed to send you the email we talked about. We can replace the Heat Link, but all I need is the info required in the form so that me and my Seniors can process the replacement.
