Nest/Heat Pump Issue - Fan Not Working

MTM428

When I turned on my heater yesterday morning, it was working as expected. Later in the day, I removed an old account from Google Home and renamed the account that includes my Nest Thermostat. Afterwards, the heat came on, but no air through the vents. I set the air conditioning and had the same issue. I also turned on the fan setting, but still no air. There are no error messages on the display or on the app on my phone. Changing the account name seems to be the action that caused the issue.
I've attempted to resolve the issue by resetting the thermostat, resetting the breaker for the heat in the breaker panel and checking my connections. Any ideas you have to resolve the issue is appreciated.

It looks like a different and unrelated problem has arisen.  Try this remove the Nest Display, then release the R wire, and the G wire.  Connect the R to the G and see if the Fan starts. There should be a small spark when the two copper wires touch each other.  If there is no spark, your not get power on the R wire.

Now, if there is a small spark and fan does not turn on, then problem is with the blower motor itself.
