Nest Heatlink no light/ H71 error on Nest app

My nest thermostat this morning notified me that there is a connection issue, got the error H71: Cant connect to heat link to control heating. After checking the heatlink had not light displayed. 
-Contacted support team and was told this is a known issue and that is would be replaced
-provided me the information for their third party repaired BOXY, when trying to book the earliest date that was shown is Wednesday, in 2 days time.
-Reached out to support team to see if there is another solution to this, but they just told me to wait for BOXY. 
-when asked if I can find my own repair person to get it done today, and be reimbursed the cost was told NO. 

So posting this, to make people aware and get the link replaced before it fails, and wrapping up warm to avoid frostbites in this weather.

I don't understand why people would get the Heat Link replaced before it goes faulty!

Why would you state get it changed? Yes there has been faulty units, and a LOT, but to state replace it before is pointless.

I don't expect you are going to replace your pump until it goes faulty, and pumps fail regularly?

Getting a repair at this time of year within 2 days is very quick, good luck getting your pump changed in that time under warranty.

Hi there, thanks for reaching out! I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but BOXT usually are available and can come to replace your Heat Link quicker than if we sent you the replacement, which depending on the option you prefer can take up to 10 business days. Also we can't replace a Heat Link or base or display if they are working properly.
