We've had this thermostat for over two years now and all of a sudden the temperature will not stay set. Whatever I change it too it reverts right back to 76 degrees after that temperature is achieved. I also cannot set the cooling temperature when using the Heat*Cool mode. I can change the heat setting but once I try to adjust the cool setting it says press to change but nothing happens. This problem is extremely frustrating and I know its also got to be affecting my bill considering I have to change it back to 72 degrees at least twice daily. It doesn't matter that I set cool to 72. It still will not stay set. I saw another user @Darthbader82 @post the exact same issue last year. Please advise.

Same here. Big problem. You won't find help here. Just order a simple thermostat for 20$ on Amazon and destroy the nest device after so no one has to suffer

Thanks for chiming in. I really might do that but trying to give it a last ditch effort to see if it can be salvaged. I don't know what happened, it wasn't always doing this. I hope someone can help but I have a very short fuse on how much longer I'll go on with nest if its not resolved ASAP.

Hello everyone,
I'm sorry to hear that your Nest Thermostat keeps changing its temperature when the learning settings are already turned off. I'd be happy to take a look at this.
I appreciate all the steps you both have taken. Have you tried checking the Routines? If you haven't yet, check the Routines settings in the Google Home app and check for any thermostat actions showing, then remove them. You can also go to the Nest Sense settings to disable the Auto-schedule for the Nest Learning Thermostat and the Nest Thermostat E. Also, restart your thermostats to refresh whenever changes have been made to synchronize them.
Let me know how it goes.
Regards,
Mark
