Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd Gen Stopped Working

Connor54

Heya,

Been using my thermostat for the last 2-3 months, no issues with it. Then yesterday it went offline, it's flashing red led even though it's on its dock changing with micro USB. Keeps restarting also just saying 'restarting, be back in a bit' then it doesn't turn back on for ages then it does the same thing again. Tried taking it off the dock for an hour and charging manually. Same issue once back on the dock, immediately. Screen doesn't stay on longer than 3-4 seconds before shutting down again.

Any help I would appreciate.

Hi Connor,

I had a pretty simular issue last year, I contacted Google support gave them the details they required, think it was serial number etc, and they sent me a replacement. I later found out that they where aware of this being a batch problem.

I would suggest you do as I did and see where it goes from there, hope thats a little helpful!
