Hi, after having lots of building work done I have had my Nest thermostat reinstalled. It’s connected to Wifi fine but I can’t get it to reconnect to the app - the app just said ‘offline’. I have restarted the thermostat and also deleted the app and tried to reconnect to the thermostat. However, I can’t get an entry key from the thermostat as it’s saying it’s connected to a Nest app account, even though it isn’t!

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with reconnecting your Nest Thermostat to the app. To isolate the issue, could you try resetting your Nest Thermostat back to the factory default settings? You can click on this link to learn more about this.
