Energenie smart TRV issue

So I have had Nest Thermostst for a couple of years now, I recently added some smart TRVs to radiators. (these ones)
Nest has been migrated to google.
https://energenie4u.co.uk/catalogue/product/MIHO013-4

I picked them as they are supposedly nest aware. However when trying to connect up, I am having a small issue.
I can select energeine from the nest aware list, I can connect google home to energenie. However, when trying to connect the energenie app to nest, thats here trouble starts.  on Android, I am getting 3rd party cookies  are blocked (they are not) error. on iOS I get to the nest login screen, but continually get wrong user/password error (its not). I think it is trying to use old pre migrated account,   As When logging onto nest on PC I get the option to log in via google, which works, I dont seem to be getting that option using the app on iOS.  I have removed & re-added app to make sure I am on latest version.
dont suppose anyone has has similar issue & managed to resolve?

Hi.. I have the same in the Mi Home app.. I go to the Menu and select 'Connect with Nest', click 'Connect' and then input Email and Password and get the same error as you..!

Still trying different ways to resolve it but no success as yet... Not helpful I know, but at least you are not alone..!!

Deek... It's Not Good News.... I only bought Nest because of the compatibility with TRV's I have had for ages...!!!

I have had this from Tech Support to my enquiry as to why I cannot Log In via the Connect to Nest...

Thank you for getting in touch. Unfortunately Nest have now turned Off their Works With Nest platform. This was completely out of our control and a decision taken by Google.

We have removed the compatibility details from our own websites and have had the compatibility details removed from most of our distributors sites although some of this still remains.

We are in discussions with Google regarding the return of the Works with Nest feature.  While the discussions continue, it was decided that the button would be retained on the ap, although it will not allow you to link your Google Nest account.

You can use the MiHome radiators in with a Google Nest Thermostat using Google Assistant. Once your MiHome skill has been added to Google Assistant, you will be able to place your eTRVs in the same group as the Nest and be able to change the temperature on all devices using the Google Assistant.

Details on the change can be found through the link below:

If you have any questions, please let us know and we will be happy to help.

Kind Regards
