Hi,
Looking for some help please. We have a 3 zone, propane boiler feeding baseboard heat. Each zone has two wires, R and W. When I used the device compatibility tool it came back and said I can use the Nest Learning Thermostat or the Nest Thermostat. But that for the Nest Thermostat I'd need a C wire, or Nest Power Connector.
My question is, how is the Nest Learning Thermostat powered? Is it battery online, or draws power from either the R or W wire. I would prefer to get the Learning thermostat, but given we're in Vermont, I don't want to run into power issues in the winter.
I could run a Nest Power Connector, or set up a C wire, but I'd prefer not to.
Thanks

Hey there,
Sorry for the late response, but I wanted to drop in here to help.
I understand that these issues can be confusing but I definitely wanted to stop by and see how I could help.
Just wanted to double check to see if you were still needing help on this? If so, what troubleshooting steps have you tried?
Please let me know.
Best regards,
Garrett DS
