Nest Learning thermostat, wrong weather

rdejana

I have a Nest Thermostat model Display-3,4 running software 6.2-27.  The weather displayed on the unit is incorrect and appears to be wrong location.  Via the Nest App, the outdoor weather appears to be correct.

I've set my location in the Nest app and have NO location option in the settings menu.

Help.

Hello rdejana,

Thanks for letting us know about the incorrect forecast showing on your Nest Thermostat. I'd be happy to take a look at this for you.

The current location of your residence is shown in the Location menu. You can adjust your location in the settings of your actual thermostat if it is incorrect. Your location can be used by your thermostat to collect local date, time, and weather data if it is connected to the Nest app and Wi-Fi. Additionally, make sure the location permission for the Nest app is enabled in your phone's settings.

Note: For your time to be automatically adjusted, your location must be configured correctly.

Let us know if you need more help.

Thanks,
Mark
