Nest Power Connector no W wire and already a wire connected to C

I ordered the nest power connector. We have a heat only system with a boiler. There is no W wire and already a wire connected to C. There is a R wire and a G wire. Can I connect just the R wire and still connect the C wire?

Before we start, I would like to be sure that your system is compatible with the Nest Power Connector because we recommend installing it in case your system doesn’t have a C wire.

In order to help you better, could you reply to the following questions?

• What type of Nest Thermostat do you have?
• Could you please provide me with a picture of the wiring of your thermostat?

After checking the pictures you shared, it seems that your installation requires a physical attention to avoid any damage to the Nest Thermostat or the HVAC unit. I will suggest you contact a pro technician for further assistance.
