Nest Review - Disappointed

I don’t remember the last time I was this disappointed in a product. I purchased three Nest thermostats, two for our home and one for our business. About a week after install the one at our business lost connectivity. I went through all the troubleshooting steps online, the unit is defective. The only options available from Google is to send the thermostat in for a replacement (while having no thermostat) or them placing a hold on your credit card while they wait on the defective part to be shipped back. I chose option two. They send you a rebuilt replacement (paid for a new one, but whatever). The unit I received doesn’t work at all. As we’re all busy people I don’t have time to spend on the phone troubleshooting another unit just to be charged again for a replacement. Since then one of my home units won’t connect. Now I’ve paid for 4 Nest thermostats and only one functions properly. I’ve tried to escalate the issue for a different answer but to no avail. Strongly would encourage anyone thinking about buying one of these products to choose another brand. Ecobee seems good. I’m so very disappointed in a huge company like Google putting out such an inferior product. Will not buy again and can’t return for a refund.
