Nest Schedule

Hello, I’ve just had this installed at my holiday house. How do I make it follow the schedule I’ve set?  It’s currently 18:47 on a Saturday and I’ve set the temp at 24 to try and make the system come on (it’s currently 19 there) but it’s staying off. Any help much appreciated!

Hi ColmW,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. If you don’t want your Nest Thermostat E or Nest Learning Thermostat to make automatic adjustments to its temperature schedule as it learns what temperatures you like and when, turn off Auto-Schedule. Then, you can manually edit the existing schedule, or create an entirely new one.

Give these steps a try:

When you turn off Auto-Schedule, your existing schedule will remain but your thermostat will stop learning from your future adjustments.

Google Home app:

  1. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  2. Tap Favorites or Devices .
  3. Select your thermostat.
  4. Tap Settings Settings gear and then Temperature Preferences and then Auto Schedule. Then select the mode you want to use: Auto, Suggestions, or Off.

Nest app:

  1. Open the Nest app, then select your Nest thermostat.
  2. Select Settings Nest settings icon and then Auto-Schedule.
  3. Tap the switch to turn it off.

On the Nest Thermostat

Choose Settings Nest settings icon and then Nest Sense and then Auto-Schedule and then Off.

Regards,
