Nest Sensors for Google Nest version 1.4

So we're just having some uneven temperatures in the house and i was told about the temperature sensors, which would be great because sometimes we aren't in the upstairs and parts of the house are closed off. I'm getting mixed information on which sensors would work with my google nest.  I have the Thermostat - 1.4 software version 2.2-6

Can anyone point me in the right direction on which temperature sensors would work for my device?

There are two generations of the Nest Temperature Sensor. Both models are compatible with the Google Nest Thermostat E and Google Nest Learning Thermostat (3rd gen and 4th gen). Nest Learning Thermostat (4th gen) comes with a Nest Temperature Sensor (2nd gen), but the 1st gen temperature sensors are compatible as well.
