I used to have a furnace/AC controlled by a Nest thermostat and a half dozen Nest temp sensors. I just upgraded my old furnace/AC to a Mitsubishi heat pump system controlled by a proprietary Mitsubishi thermostat, the MHK2 Wireless Remote Controller, and I have paired that with a kumo Cloud WiFi adapter which connects the system to the kumo app which integrates nicely with the Google home app.
Anyway, so my query is this... I still have the nest temp sensors. And I was wondering if there may be a creative way to connect the nest temp sensors to the Mitsubishi just because I'm already invested in them and I like the look of them better than the Mitsubishi temp sensors. I know the nest temp sensors can only connect to the nest thermostat, but I still have that too. So I was wondering if I could somehow set up a dummy nest thermostat, connect the temp sensors to it, just to get the temp sensors added to Google home. Because I believe it is the case that once the nest temp sensors are in Google home I can tell the Mitsubishi system to read the nest sensors and be controlled by their temp readings, no?
any other thoughts? Or do I just need to scrap these sensors and get the ugly Mitsubishi ones?

To the best of my knowledge there is no way to do that unfortunately. Nest Temperature Sensors are only compatible with Google Nest Thermostats and are not designed to work with third party devices.
