Nest Temperature not Reading Right and Farsight not Working

I have the 3rd Generation Nest Learning Thermostat. My Nest is reading it is 72 degrees F however my thermometer reads 69 degrees F. I also have been trying to change the display on the Farsight and nothing changes when I select current temp vs target temp vs analog etc. 

Please advise on both situations

Thanks for posting here in the Community and I’m sorry for the late reply. Please give us your Nest Learning Thermostat's current signal strength by following the procedures listed below.

1. To open the Quick View menu, press the thermostat’s ring.
2. Choose Settings.
3. Turn the ring to highlight Technical Info then press the ring to select it.
4. Get the Signal strength value.

On the other hand, try to disable and enable your Nest Learning Thermostat's farsight feature.
