Nest Thermostat E compatibility with 3rd Gen Heat Link

Hi, I currently have a Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd Gen with its own Nest Heat Link installed. If I buy a Nest Thermostat E, will it connect to the existing Nest Heat Link? (i.e. it will not need to connect to its own Heat Link E). Thanks

Thanks for reaching out. The answer is no. Each Thermostat will connect only with the certain type of Heat Link that comes from its model.
