Nest Thermostat Fan Function

I can tell my google home to “turn on the nest fan” and it’ll turn it on for the shortest preset time of 15 minutes. Is there a command to get it to run for longer stretches of time? I’ve tried multiple strings of words and the google home only understands the one.

Your Nest Thermostat may have been configured to operate the fan for 15 minutes. Try changing the duration or choosing how long you would like the fan to run for each hour. Please read this article on the Nest Thermostat Fan Control and let us know if you need any additional assistance.

I don’t have an issue getting the fan to run longer when I turn it on at the device or using an app. I’m trying to figure out which google home voice command will get it to run at the longer intervals as well.

We hear you. The Google Assistant doesn't yet have the ability to run the fan longer than the set fan schedule. The Fan only operates based on the schedule set in its settings. With this, please let our product team know about this through feedback with more functional commands that can be added, and let us know if you have other questions or concerns.
