Hi, my Next Thermostat hot water schedule will not let me put my hot water on for less than 30mins at a time?? I only need it on for 15mins to heat the water. 30mins is double the time I need it on for. When I try enter 15mins it rounds it up to 30mins. Any help?
Thank you!

Hi there, @Jimcorny,
Thanks for letting me know. However, that's not an issue, it's meant to protect your heating system against damage or short cycle. Unfortunately, that's can't be changed or set up, this is how the product is designed. Should anything else come up, please let me know.

Thanks DragosC. There is one other issue. I have the hot water heating programmed to come on with the schedule. However it does not come on at the scheduled times anymore. It does work when I manually turn the hot water heating on though. Don't know what the problem may be?

Understood, thanks for letting me know. Could you tell us please if you can check into your actual thermostat's settings > Equipment > Continue > Bacteria prevention? Send me a picture from there please.

The bacteria function was disabled. I found a hot water schedule button that said disabled. So I have enabled this. I did have a schedule programmed for certain times of that day. Is it possible that the hot water schedule can be disabled, even when I have times programmed? Thanks James

Yes. You can select the hot water control option in the Nest app and tap on the symbol in the upper right corner to go into the hot water settings. There the first toggle can be toggled off, and back on, to disable and enable the hot water schedule.
