Hello. My current HVAC systems are a gas fired boiler (installed in 2021) for steam and a separate AC unit for the first floor. The AC is a 3 wire cable and heating is a 2 wire cable. Both are working fine with the older digital programmable thermostat for the past 24 years. I just purchased a Nest thermostat model: G4CVZ. I downloaded the Google Home for setup and got to the 'Not Compatible' notice. I matched the wires from the existing thermostat: Y, G, W, Rh and Rc, to the same on the Google nest. I have images of both thermostat wiring setups.
Where can I find help?
Thanks

Hello DutchPhoto,
It appears that you've encountered a compatibility issue while trying to set up your new Nest Thermostat. I appreciate that you've already matched the wires from your existing thermostat to the Nest thermostat, but it seems there might be a specific compatibility concern.
To resolve this, share with us a photo of your old thermostat and the Nest Thermostat's wiring setup so we can see its wiring configuration. To insert an image in a post:
I'll look forward to your response.
Best regards,
